We have an exciting new opening for Ground Workers to join our growing team, carrying out a range of short duration civils projects across the UK.

Our company provide services to a wide spectrum of businesses, including Britain’s top supermarkets, large hotel chains, thousands of retailers, the NHS and some of the country’s most prestigious universities, installing security solutions for parking solutions.

PLEASE NOTE PROOF OF QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED UPON APPLICATION:

• CSCS Card
• CPCS/NPORS (ten tonne above and below)
• NRWSA Qualification (Streetworks)

THIS IS UK WIDE THEREFORE FOUR NIGHTS WORKING AWAY IS REQUIRED.

Key Responsibilities of the Ground Worker:

• Excavation works including service trenching
• Operation of small highways maintenance plant and equipment
• Carry out ground surveys to locate underground services using cable avoidance tools
• General ground works activities including the laying and levelling of kerbs, paving slabs, tarmac and concrete
• Assist with installation and signage functions when the need arises

Skills & Experience Required:

• Competent in all aspects of ground works
• Valid CSCS card
• CPCS/NPORS
• A knowledge and appreciation of health and safety regulations
• NRWSA Qualification (Streetworks)
• Ability to plan and organise work
• Experience of carrying out high quality civil works
